DYNOMITE DI and DESTRUCTION
Dynomite Di and Destruction is Diane Cricchio, together with Jerry Scaringe. Watch out! We are "Four Guys and a Skirt." This Jump Blues, Roots Rock Band, features Dave McDowell on saxophone with Chris Vitarello or Hank Decora on guitar, and Rob Wallis, George Morals, or Dennis Diken on drums...you'll know when you get there and won't want to stay in your chair! They'll have you tearing up the rug. You might remember Dynomite Di as Duchess Di, but as she covers Ruth Brown, Imelda May (and performs some originals too) her infectious smile and energy will capture the heart of any room!!! And What If... Elvis Presley came back as a fireman with a punk sensibility? And also played standup bass and harp? That about sums up Jerry Scaringe, lead vocalist and songwriter of the "Slippery Chickens."
A little bit of Chicken Bits and a little bit of the
Duchess...mixed with just a little Bourbon.
Together Jerry and Di's electric energy is visaral.
It's a rare sight, so catch it if you can.
